“The important thing is not to stop questioning.
Curiosity has its own reason for existing."
(Albert Einstein, 1879-1955)
Curiosity is a life-enriching value that I hold dear. Life is too short not to be inspired, amused and entertained.
I also belive that curiosity is one of the attributes of a successful leader. Leaders need to be interested in the world on behalf of their business.
Neither man nor robot can know everything (not even Google!). And in this fast-moving, technology-shaping society in which we live there is one constant: change. Keeping up is hard to do, but it's a necessity. And staying curious nurtures the brain - ask any neuroscientist!
Becoming an effective leader is a journey steeped in learning - about the world around you but also about yourself. And self-learning leads to self-knowing; and self-knowing leads to success and happiness.
To help you on this journey of self-evolution I keep this page up-to-date with resources that I find useful and which I keep coming back to when preparing for client coaching sessions or leadership workshops. Please tell me what you find among these - I would love to hear what insights, 'aha' moments and practical applications you glean.
